Hot Mediterranean tapas, an extensive list of Spanish wines and a quartet of belly dancers. What more could you ask for?! This weekend I am venturing forth to Ventanas, a new tapas bar cozily nestled underneath the Highline in Chelsea. From everything I've read so far, this restaurant looks exotic, romantic, and seems capable of transporting you halfway around the world for an incredibly unique dining experience. The menu is chock full of fantastically delicious sounding Spanish bites like an assortment of Chorizos, Oxtail Empanadas, a duo of Paellas, or warm Churros for dessert. Here's hoping that this will be a thoroughly decadent adventure that I will be sure to relay to all you out there.
